The ANYCUBIC Photon Mono is a beautiful, compact 3D printer with a medium-sized print surface (130x80x165 mm) for a very affordable price. On the front of the 3D printer you will find a handy 2K monochrome LCD screen with a 2.8" size to set up the printer.
The printer uses SLA (Stereolithography Apparatus) technology, a rapid prototyping technique in which layer after layer of material is fused together. This process starts at the top and goes down slowly, each layer is hardened by the built-in UV lamp.
There is a protective cover over the printer, which protects you against the UV rays that come from the printer. The printer has been designed to be safe and easy to use for beginners. When removing the cover, it automatically stops printing so that no accidents happen. For more advanced users, this feature can also be turned off in the settings.
The 3D printer has an FEP film for excellent adhesion and easy removal of prints. You unscrew the screws and easily replace the film.
The ANYCUBIC 3D printer is made with a sturdy metal frame and high quality parts to avoid shaking during printing and increase the print quality. The printer uses UV resin : biodegradable, biocompatible and produced from renewable vegetable raw materials.
The Photon Mono printer uses the Photon Workshop software from Anycubic. With this software you can convert stl/obj/etc.. files to *.pws or *.photon files so that they can be read by the Anycubic Photon printer. The software is regularly updated so that you never miss out on features.
Does the electricity go out for a while? No problem, the printer keeps track of where printing has stopped and you can continue immediately afterwards. A manual is included for safe and clean use of the printer.
